Born in KwaMashuBuilt by Hand

iKhanda eMafini means head in the clouds. In Zulu, iKhanda is the head, the mind, the source of thought. eMafini is the place where thought rises. The name holds the whole journey of what we make: from an idea, to a hand, to an object that stays.

We started in 2019 with one belief. The objects you live with should feel like an extension of who you are, not decoration borrowed from someone else's taste. A home is a kind of self-portrait. We make the pieces that help it ring true.

We work in concrete because it is honest. It is heavy, unforgiving, and it remembers every choice made in the making. There is no hiding in it. Each piece begins as raw material and is shaped entirely by hand, which means no two are identical. Small variations are not flaws. They are evidence of a person, not a machine.
Decor that feels like you.
